Formulation:
Each 100 g contains: Amoxicillin base 20 g, Colistin (as sulphate) 4 g (equivalent to 12 000 000 IU), excipients q.s. ad 100 g.
Indications:
Treatment and prevention of infections caused by germs sensitive to amoxicillin and/or colistin: infections of respiratory, digestive and urogenital systems, and infections of skin and soft tissues, as well as secondary bacterial infections. Poultry: Respiratory infections,salmonellosis, colibacillosis, cholera, ulcerative necrotic enteritis, staphylococcosis and streptococcosis, coryza, omphalitis and infection of the vitelline sac, sacculitis, synovitis, gangrenous dermatitis. Pigs: unespeciffic respiratory infections, atrophic rhinitis, enterotoxemia caused by E.coli (edema disease), enteric colibacillosis, salmonellosis, neonatal diarrhea, piglets diarrhea, post-weaning diahrrea,bacterial diahrrea, corinebacteriosis, erysipelosis, leptospirosis, dermatitis, among others. Pre-ruminants: Respiratory and enteric infections, diahrrea caused by Salmonella spp. and E.coli.
Dosage and administration:
Poultry: Preventive: 1 kg /2,000 L of water (or in 1,000 kg of feed) during 3-5 days. Treatment: 1 kg /1,500 - 2,000 L of water (or in 750-1,000 kg of feed) during 3-5 days. Pigs: Preventive: 1 kg /1,500 L of water (or in 750 kg of feed) during 3-5 days. Treatment: 1 kg /1,000-1,500 L of water (or in 500-750 kg of feed) during 3-5 days. Individual: 1-2 g /10 kg body weight. Calves, lambs, young goats and camelids: Therapeutic: 2 times a day at a rate of 1 g /20 kg during 3-5 days (in water, milk of feed). Preventive: half the dose.
